Resetting
the Settings
to Default
You
can reset
the menu
and button
operation
settings
to default.
Press the MENU button for longer
than 5 seconds.
• The message
"Reset settings
to default?"
appears
on the LCD monitor.

Select [OK] using the _ or
arrow on the omn} selector, then
press the SET button.
• The screen
on the right appears
while
resetting.
The normal screen
resumes
when
resetting
is complete.
To cancel
resetting,
select
[Cancel]
instead
of [OK].

The following
settings
cannot
be reset to default:
• The [Date/Time],
[Language]
and [Video System]
options
in the
[_
menu (p. 50)
• White
balance
data set with the custom
white ba{ance
function
(p. 94)
• Newly
registered
My Camera
settings
(p. 156)
When the camera
is in Shooting
mode and the mode dial is set to
Cl/C2,
only the Ct/C2
mode settings
will revert to default.
Settings
cannot
be reset when the camera
is connected
to a
computer
or printer.
