You c an quickly switch between Shooting mode and P layback mode, This
isconvenient when you wish t oshoot again after checking ordeleting an
image immediately after itisshot,
Shooting Mode _ Playback Mode
Turn the mode lever to [-_ (Playback) while pressing the release button
(p. 23).
• The camera switches to Playback mode, but the lens does not retract (the
lens will retract if you turn the mode lever to [-_ (Playback) once more).

Remove the lens cap and press the shutter button halfway,
Or turn the mode lever to _ (Rec.) while pressing the release button

When you turn on the camera the first time, and when the lithium coin-
type battery charge is low, the [DatelTime] menu appears.
Setting the date and time settings does not cause the date/time stamp
to appear on images. For printing images with the date on them, refer
to the Direct Print User Guide or Software Starter Guide.

then use the I_ button on the omni selector to select the
[[_ (Setup)] menu.
