HDR: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Shooting _ _
You can take artistic photos having a high dynamic range and
preserving detail in highlight and shadow areas. HDR shooting is
effective for landscape and stiIHife shots.
With HDR shooting,
three images of different
exposures
(standard
exposure,
underexposure,
and overexposure)
are captured
for
each shot and then merged together
automatically.
The HDR
image is recorded
as a JPEG image.
* HDR stands for High Dynamic Range.
HDR Shooting
Press the <._>
button.

Select
the HDR mode.
_ Turn the <0>
dial to select [HDR],
then press <__>.
_, The HDR mode screen will appear.
'_,_ Set [Adjust
dyn range].
_ Select the desired dynamic range
setting, then press <8>.
_ Selecting [Auto] will havethe dynamicrange
setautomatically t he image'soverall t onal range.
_ The higher the number, the wider the
dynamic range will be.
_ To disable HDR shooting, select
[Disable
HDR].

_ Select the desired effect, then press

The HDR mod e Cannot be Set if You us e anY of the fo!!owing: AEB, white
balance bracketing,
multiple exposures
bulb exposure, or movie
shooting.
® Flash will not fire during HDR shooting.
