You can shoot with the flash turned
off.
Press the i_ button.
D
Choose _).
Press the _ _, buttons
or turn the O dial to
choose
(_, then press the @
button.
If the flash is raised, it will automatically
lower.
Once set, (_ will appear
on the screen.
To turn the flash
back on, follow the steps
above
to choose
_A.
When you press the shutter button halfway in low light conditions
where camera
shake is likely, a flashing _
will appear on the screen. Attach the camera to a
tripod to prevent it from moving.
You can use the digital zoom to zoom up to approximately
20x maximum,
and
capture
subjects
that are too far away for the optical
zoom to enlarge.
Move the zoom lever toward E,_-I.
Hold the lever until zooming
stops.
Zooming
stops at the largest possible
zoom
factor without
image deterioration.
