You can adjust the flash output
in 1/3-stop
increments
in the range of-2 to +2.
Choose the amount of flash
exposure compensation.
After
pressing
the _ button,
immediately
turn the 0 ring to choose
the amount
of
flash
exposure
compensation,
then press
the @
button.
Once set, []
will appear
on the screen.
The camera automatically
changes the shutter speed or aperture value when the
flash fires to avoid overexposing
and blowing out the highlights in the scene.
However, if you press the MENU button to display the m_ tab and set [Safety FE]
in [Flash Settings] to [Off], the shutter speed and aperture value will not
automatically
adjust.
You can automatically
correct
red-eye
that occurs
in images
taken with the
flash.
Choose [Flash Settings].
