You can cut movies to remove unneeded portions at the beginning or end.
Movie Editing Panel
Choose _.
Following steps 1 - 3 on pp. 122 - 123,
choose _ and press the @ button.
The movie editing panel and editing bar are
now displayed.
Movie Editing Bar
Specify portions to cut.
Press the ,A_'_ buttons to choose &_ or _/_.
To viewthe portions you can cut (identified by
o_ on the screen), press the _ buttons to
move _. Cut the beginning of the movie (from
o_ ) by choosing _[, and cut the end of the
movie by choosing _.
Even if you move _ to a position other than a
o_ mark, choosing _ will only cut the
portion from the nearest o_ to the left, and
choosing _'0_will cut the portion from the
nearest o_ to the right.
Review the edited movie.
Press the Av buttons to choose _, and
then press the @ button. The edited movie is
now played.
To edit the movie again, repeat step 2.
To cancel editing, press the Av buttons to
choose _D. Press the @ button, press the
4_ buttons to choose [OK], and then press
the @ button again.
