Just as with the AE lock (p. 77), you can lock the exposure
for shooting
with
the flash.
FE stands
for "Flash Exposure".

The flash will fire and when
FEL

again,
FEL
will disappear
and the FE will unlock.
Compose the scene and shoot.
You can make the main subject,
such as people,
appear
bright by having
the
camera
provide
the appropriate
illumination with the flash. At the same time,
you can use a slow shutter
speed to brighten
the background
that the light
from the flash cannot
reach.
Select _*.
After pressing
the ), button,
press the _),
buttons
to select
{_. Then
press the @
button.
Once set, _* will appear.
Even if the flash fires, ensure
that the
subject
does not move until the shutter
sound
ends.
