This chapter serves as the advanced version of Chapter 4 and
explains how to take pictures using various functions.
This chapter assumes that P mode has been selected by pressing the
MODE
button, then the 4_ buttons.
"*S Shooting Long Exposures" (p. 80) is explained with the camera set to
*S mode. To set this mode, press the MODE button, use the 4)' buttons
to select SCN mode, then use the Av buttons to select *S.
Before attempting to shoot using a function explained in this chapter in
modes other than P mode, check if the function is available in those
modes (pp. 116- 119).
