You need to prepare your hard disk before you can run an operating
system on it. Refer to "Using a Hard Disk Drive" in Chapter 3 and your
MS-DOS (or other operating system) manual for instructions on how to
prepare a hard disk for use.
When your hard disk is set up to automatically boot MS-DOS, the
operating system loads when you turn on the computer. The date and
time prompts display and you see the system prompt:
Inserting and Removing Diskettes
Follow these steps to insert a diskette into a floppy disk drive:
Hold the diskette with the label face up and the write-protect notch
