It is recommended that you replace the filter
when the water filter indicator light turns on or
your water dispenser or ice maker decreases
noticeably.
After changing the water filter cartridge, reset the
water filter status display and indicator light by
pressing and holding the BUTTON for 3 seconds.
1) Removethe old cartridge.
Rotatethe knob of the cartridgecounter clockwise.
Whenthe cartridge is removed,youwill feel it click
out of place.
Pullout the cartridge.
2) Replacewith a new cartridge.
Takethe new cartridgeout of its packagingand remove
protectivecover from the o-rings.With cartridgeknob in
the vertical position,pushthe new filter cartridge into
the cover until it stops.
If youcan't turnthe filter from sideto side,it isn'tfully
inserted.Pushit in firmly andtwist it intoplace.Youwill
hearthe snapwhen it clicksintoplace.Usingits handle,
twist the cartridge clockwiseabout
1/4
turn.Youwill hear
the snapwhen it clicksintoplace.
3) Flushingthe Water System After ReplacingFilter.
Dispensewater throughthe water dispenserfor 3
minutes to purge the system.
