To select font capture from in-stream JCL add the "CHARS" option to sysout/output statement as follows.

To print a list of the captured fonts, select Print Resource List from Option Card Menu > IPDS MENU

8.2.2.4 Making TrueType Fonts eligible for Capture on mainframe
The Font Installer for AFP Systems can mark TrueType fonts as eligible for capture. However, this is not
related to the Font capture flag available to AFP fonts.

8.3 Preparing Data Objects (non-font resources) for Capture

8.3.1 Capturing Data Objects from an IBM Host

8.3.1.1 Enabling Data Object Capture on the Printer
Follow the steps below to enable capturing of data objects in the printer. For details refer to RESOURCE
CAPTURE Menu Options on page 45).
1. Select the storage media: Option Card Menu > IPDS MENU > RESOURCE CAPTURE >
Capture Media. (This step is only necessary if both disk and flash are installed in the printer.)
2. Activate font capture: Option Card Menu > IPDS MENU > RESOURCE CAPTURE >
Capture Data Object. Make sure that the value is set to Enable.
8.3.1.2 Making Data Objects Eligible for Capture on the Host
Object containers are used to carry non-OCA objects, such as GIF and TIFF images, in an AFP data
stream. There are different ways to include them in your data, depending on your installation and how
you want to use them.
On the iSeries the DDS keyword AFPRES lets you reference a print resource stored in the integrated file
system, including an object container.
Object containers can be mapped using the MO:DCA Map Data Resource (MDR) structured field.
Mapping causes PSF to send the object container to the printer to be used multiple times, just like it does
fonts, overlays and page segments. If you want them downloaded once to the printer and used repeatedly
on subsequent pages or overlays, they should be included as data object resources. Data object resources
are those object containers (or IOCA objects) that are sent to the printer in the IPDS home state. Object
containers sent to the printer in this state are saved as data object resources to be used later while
processing a page or overlay.

8.4 Preparing CMOCA Resources for Capture

Color Management Object Content Architecture (CMOCA) resources may be captured to disk or flash.
These objects must be marked as eligible for capture. For example, when using the InfoPrint AFP
