been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. To
receive futl value from the warranty, operator must maintain
tractor as instructed in this manual. _)
Some adjustments will need to be _ade periodically to
properly maintain your tractor.
All adjustments in the Service and Adjustments section of
this manual should be checked at least once each season.
Once a year you should replace the spark plug, clean
or replace air filter, and check blades and belts for
wear. A new spark plug and clean air filter assure
proper air-fuel mixture and help your engine run better
and last longer.

CANTS WILL ATTRACT DUST AND DIRT THAT WILL SHORTEN
THE LIFE OF THE SELF-LUBRICATING BEARINGS. IF YOU
FEEL THEY MUST BE LUBRICATED, USE ONLY A DRY, POW-

DERED GRAPHITE TYPE LUBRICANT SPARINGLY.
