cleaning the upper tank
1. Turn power OFF. Unplug power cord from
electrical outlet.
2. Remove the dirt container as instructed on
page 8.
3. Grasp inner cyclone and twist to the left
and pull straight down to remove. Use
a damp cloth (water or mild solution) to
wipe out inside of the upper tank. Allow
upper tank to dry completely.
4. Separate the louvers from the inner
cyclone by holding the bottom of the
cyclone and gently pulling louvers straight
out. Inner cyclone and louvers may be
washed using a mild detergent. Allow
both inner cyclone and louvers to dry
completely before reassembling.
5. Reassemble louvers to inner cyclone by
gently sliding it straight down on the top
of inner cyclone.
6. Replace inner cyclone by sliding it into the
upper housing and lining up the marking
(Front) positioned toward the front of the
unit. Push the inner cyclone in and rotate
it to the right until locking tabs stop the
rotation.
