Connecting
the
water
A cold water connection
is required
for operation
of the automatic
ice
maker. The water pressure must be
between
25 and 120 p.s.i.
(1.72
8.25 bar).
The installation
must comply
with
local plumbing
regulations
and local
and state taws.
A separate shut off valve must be
installed for the appliance
water
connection.
The shut off valve for the water
connection
must not be behind the
appliance.
It is recommended
to
place the shut off valve directly next
to the appliance
(base unit) or in
another easily accessible
location.
Switching
on
the appliance
C3 Press the on/off
button.
When the appliance
has been
switched
on, the appliance
begins to
coot down. When the doors are
open, the interior lights come on.
[_The
preset temperatures
(factory
settings) are reached after some
hours. Do not put any food in
the appliance
beforehand.
[_Do
not use the first ice cubes
from the ice maker!
Discard the ice production
of
the first 24 hours after switching
on the icemaker.
To change the preset temperatures
> see "Setting the temperature".
Switching
off
and
disconnecting
the appliance
Switching
off the
appliance
C3 Pressthe
on/off
button.
If switching
off the appliance
for
a period longer than 2 weeks,
remove the water filter. Before
switching
on the appliance
again, install a new filter
(see "Exchanging
the filter").
Disconnecting
the
appliance
If you do not use the appliance for
a prolonged
period:
C3 Shut off the water supply line.
Shut off the water supply line
several hours before switching
off the appliance.
C3 Remove and discard the water
filter. Secure the filter cap!
C3 Take all food out of the
appliance.
C3 Putt out the mains plug or switch
off the fuse.
C3 Empty the ice cube container.
C3 Clean the appliance
interior
(see "Cleaning the appliance").
C3 To prevent odors, leave the
doors open.
