Burner Grates
Porcelain eimmel burner grates should
be washed regularly and, of com_e, atter
spill ovex_.
The grates may be washed either in the
dishwasher or you may wash them in hot
soaI/)' water and rinse with clean water:

also tlse abrasive cleaners and
scorning pads to clean bm'ner grates. Dry
tile grates with a cloth--<lon't put them
back on the cooktop wet.
To get rid of burned-on toed, place tile
grates in a covered containe_: Add 1/4
cup (59 mi.) ammonia and let them soak
several houI_ or overnight. Wash, iinse
well and (h_:
_Mthough they're durable, tile grates
will gradually lose their shine, regardless
at the best care you can give them. This
is due to their continual exposure to high
temperatures.
Do not operate a burner tor an extended
period of time without cookware on tile

Rubber Grate Feet
For stability, your cooktop has rubber
teet on the burner grates. If am' of these
rubber teet should become damaged or
lost, replace them immediately.

NOTE"The glass cover should be
removed only when cold. Wearing latex
gloves may offer a better grip.
CAUTION. Before
replacing your
oven light bulb, disconnect the electrical
power to the oven at the main fuse or
circuit breaker panel.

with bare hands or a damp cloth.
Toremove:
[] Turn the glass co_er
counterdockwise 1/4 mrn until the
tabs of tile glass co_er clear tile
grooxes of the socket.
[] Using gloves or a dr) cloth, renloxe
tile bulb by Imllin°_ it .straioht_()/It.
Toreplace:
[] Use a new 130-volt halogen bulb,
not t() exceed 50 watts.
[] Using.. , _*loxes.or a (h'_. cloth relnoxe
the bulb ti'om its packaging, , . Do not
touch the bulb with bare fingers.

receptacle all the way.
[] Place the tabs of the glass cover into
the gr(>oves (>f tile socket. Turn the
glass c()ver ch)ckwise 1 / 4 turn t()
engage.

should be done when the oven is
