Troubleshooting

This troubleshooting guide provides solutions to some common problems that
you may encounter while intalling or using the ASUS 802.11g AP. These problems
require simple troubleshooting that you can perform by yourself. Contact the ASUS
Technical Support if you encounter problems not mentioned in this chapter.
The ASUS 802.11g AP does not power up.
Check that all cables are properly connected.
Check if the ASUS 802.11g AP is plugged to the correct power rating.
The client cannot establish a wired connection with the ASUS
802.11g AP.
Ensure that there are no duplicate IP addresses in the network. Turn off
the ASUS 802.11g AP and plug its IP address. Ensure that no other device
responds to that address.
Check that all cables are properly connected and working properly.
Check that all the devices, such as hub, switch or computer, that the ASUS
802.11g AP is connected to support 10/100Mbps speed.
