Section 4 - Configuration
This section allows you to setup and configure the wireless settings on your camera.

Wireless

Select Enable to connect your camera to a wireless network.
Settings:
SSID:
Service Set Identifier, an identifier for your wireless network.
Channel: Select the Channel you would like to use.
Connection Infrastructure is a wireless connection using an access point as a
Mode: transmission point of all wireless devices. Ad-Hoc is a wireless connection
used without an access point, where your DCS-940L is directly connecting
to your PC. This is done using the on-board wireless adapter on the DCS-
940L connected to a wireless adapter on the PC.
Operation Allows the user to select the wireless protocol, 11g, 11b or auto detection.
Mode:
Wireless
For security, there are three choices; None, WEP, and WPA-PSK / WPA2-
Security Mode: PSK. Select the same encryption method that is being used by your
wireless device/ router.
Pre-Shared
A shared secret which was previously shared between the two sides
Key: using some secure channel before it is used.
