You can change skin softening settings.

e On (default setting)
Off
The icon for the current setting is displayed in the monitor when the camera is in shooting
mode (A 8). No icon is displayed when Off is selected. The degree of skin softening effect
cannot be confirmed on the subject on the shooting screen. Check the degree of skin
softening performed in playback mode.

When the shutter is released, the camera detects one or more person's
faces (up to three), and processes the image to soften facial skin tones
before saving the image.
Turns skin softening off.
