Cassette without Tape Navigation data
If a cassette which was not recorded on this VCR
is inserted, the VCR will check the Tape Navigation
data. The TAPE NAVIGATION button will flash for
a few seconds, and the VCR will prompt you to
input the type of tape.
Press the TAPE NAVIGATION button on the VCR or
the NAVI button on the remote control.
The search menu will appear on the TV screen,
and the TAPE NAVIGATION button will flash for a
few seconds in the search mode.
If the VCR cannot find the tape data, "NO TAPE
NAVI DATA" will appear on the TV screen.
Broadcast without PDC signal: The programme
data will not be split.
Broadcast with PDC signal: The programme data
will be split into three sections.
This splitting phenomenon occurs for programmes
broadcast with the PDC signal in normal and timer
recording modes.
