    CAUTION HALT USE IMMEDIATELY IF A PROBLEM APPEARS. Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product. Return it to your authorized Alpine dealer or the nearest Alpine Service Centre for repairing. HAVE THE WIRING AND INSTALLATION DONE BY EXPERTS.

    English CAUTION CONNECTIONS OF POWER SUPPLY TERMINAL G Before connecting the power supply wire to the unit, be sure to remove the negative (–) terminal of the vehicle’s battery. • Make the power supply wire connection to the battery positive (+) terminal of the unit, before connecting the wire to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle’s battery .

    2. Make sure there are no objects behind the surface that may become damaged during drilling. 3. Drill the screw holes. 4. Position the MRV-F545/MRV-F345 over the screw holes, and secure with four self-tapping screws. NOTE: To securely connect the ground lead, use an already installed screw on the metal part of the vehicle (marked (#)).

    (remove any paint or grease if necessary) of the car chassis. • If you add an optional noise suppressor, connect it as far away from the unit as possible. Your Alpine dealer carries various noise suppressors, contact them for further information.

    Input Channel Selector Switch a) Setting this switch to “1/2” will send the signal at the inputs of CH-1/2 to CH-3/4 of the MRV- F545/MRV-F345. This eliminates the need for “Y”-adaptors when using a head unit with a single pair of pre-amp output.

    English Display Button DN (DOWN) Button MODE Button OPERATION METHOD SELECTING THE AMP ID • When multiple amplifiers are connected to an Amplifier LINK compatible Head Unit, each amp must have its own, unique ID. • With a single amplifier system, an AMP ID is not necessary.
  • Page 13 English ADJUSTING THE INPUT LEVEL • Adjust the input level of the amplifier to match the output of the connected head unit. 1. Press the MODE button until “GAIN” “CH1/2” is displayed. CH 1/2 input level adjustment is now possible. 2.
