If one of these messages appears

If any of the following messages are displayed, check the equipment while referring to the
Cause and Corrective action columns.

1: If the unit will not work after the disk is ejected, contact your local retailer.
2: If this happens, wait for a while. When the temperature inside the equipment returns to
normal, the message will disappear and playback will start. If the message does not
disappear after a long period of waiting, contact the place of purchase.

Cause
The CD changer is searching for
discs when a magazine has been
set in the CD changer.
The door of the CD changer is
open.
The CD/MP3·WMA/DVD is dirty,
scratched, warped or upside
down.
There is no disc in the CD/
MP3·WMA/DVD player or CD
changer.
The CD/MP3·WMA/DVD player or
CD changer is not operating for
some reason.
The temperature of the CD/
MP3·WMA/DVD player or CD
changer has become unusually
high.
There is no magazine in the CD
changer.
The
th CD in the CD changer
cannot be read.
This message is displayed when
the pass code that has been
entered is not correct.
Viewing restrictions are enabled.
A function that has been disabled
was selected with the menu.
A function that cannot be used
while the vehicle is in motion was
selected.
A number not supported was input
for selecting a language code.
The region code (controlled region
for playback) of the disc isn't
acceptable.
The selected chapter/title does not
exist.
Corrective action
Wait until the unit has finished
identifying the type of disc.
Close the door of the CD changer.
Clean the disc if it is dirty. Insert
the disc correctly if it is
upsidedown. Do not use the
scratched or warped disc.
Load a music disc (1).
Eject the disc.
Without performing any other
operations, wait until the
temperature comes down (2).
Load a magazine.
Check for a properly loaded music
CD.
Enter the correct pass code.
Change the setting for viewing
restrictions and start again. (Refer
to page 114.)
Follow the directions on the screen
and start again.
Stop the vehicle and set the
emergency / parking brake.
Input a valid language code.
Check that the DVD has a region
code that can be played on this
equipment. (Refer to page 96.)
Select a chapter/title that is on the
disc.
