Use a soft cloth (silicon cloth) to remove dirt from the main unit.
If the unit is very dirty, soak a cloth in diluted kitchen detergent, wring dry, then use to
wipe the unit clean. Finally, wipe down with a dry cloth.
Use any cloths made from artificial fibers in accordance with the relevant cautionary
instructions.

Do not use volatile chemicals such as benzine or thinner.
Otherwise, the unit may be damaged or the coating may peel.
About care and maintenance for the antenna

Do not apply paint or wax onto the GPS antenna. Otherwise, signal reception
sensitivity may be diminished or signal reception may be rendered impossible.
●
When removing or adjusting the GPS antenna, be careful not to pull on the cord, as it
could result in a short or disconnection.
● The solar control films or heat-reflective glass found in some cars reflect
electromagnetic waves, which can severely diminish signal reception sensitivity.
Mirror-type films can also adversely affect reception sensitivity.
Take care when
cleaning the
touch panel as it
is easily
scratched.
