Sewing an intermediate bartack

At the seam end
Remove the material
Operation / Explanation
– Press down the stitch regulator lever 1.
The machine sews reverse stitches as long as the stitch
regulator lever is pressed down.
The speed of rotation is determined through the pedal.

– Press the key 2 (if the function bartack has been
programmed).
The machine sews reverse stitches as long as the key 2
is pressed down.
The speed of rotation is determined through the pedal
– Push the pedal forward and keep it pushed.
The machine sews forward with the speed that is
determined by the pedal.
– Push the pedal all the way back and keep it pushed.
The final bartack will be sewn (if activated).
The threads will be trimmed (if activated)*.
The machine stops in the second position.
The needle is lifted.
The sewing foot is lowered
– Actuate the knee lever.
The sewing foot is lifted.
– Remove the material.

* The control unit is delivered with the following setting: thread trimming with
the pedal in "half back" position (sewing machines without foot lifting
solenoid). If the machine is equipped with a foot lifting solenoid, the
parameter 70 must be set to "OFF" at the operating panel in order to trigger
the sewing foot lifting (see installation instructions - chapter 7).
