Problem
Washing is not spun
thoroughly and water
remains visible in the
drum.
The END (FIN/EINDE)
indicator flashes twice.
The door cannot be
opened when the
washing machine is
switched on.
The indicator lights
START/PAUSE
(MARCHE/PAUSE,
START/PAUZE) and
DOOR (PORTE/DEUR)
come on.
Possible Cause
There is a kink in the outlet
hose.
The maximum pump height
(outlet height 1m from the
washing machine's installa-
tion surface) has been
exceeded.
The drain pump is blocked.
Using a siphon connection:
the siphon is blocked.
Door is locked due to high
water level or high tempera-
ture.
Instructions for use
Remedy
Straighten the hose.
Contact Customer Service,
who will be able to provide
an adaptor kit for pump lifts
greater than 1m as a special
accessory.
Switch off the machine and
disconnect the mains plug.
Clean the drain pump.
Clean the siphon.
Wait until the wash pro-
gramme has ended, the
DOOR (PORTE/DEUR) light
has gone off and the END
(FIN/EINDE) light has come
on.
If the door has to be opened:
Turn the programme knob to
OFF (ARRET/UIT); turn the
programme knob to DRAIN
(VIDANGE/POMPEN). Press
the START/PAUSE (MARCHE/
PAUSE, START/PAUZE) but-
ton.
After the water has drained,
the door can be opened.
