Advanced Keyless Entry and Start System

Setting Change (Function Customization)

Your vehicle comes with certain Advanced Keyless Entry System settings which can be
activated and deactivated. Have an Authorized Mazda Dealer show you how to activate or
deactivate any or all of the settings as shown in the chart below.
Setting
Advanced key battery dead
KEY indicator light (green) flashes to indicate
indicator
that the advanced key battery power is low.
Lock/unlock operation
A beep sound is heard to confirm that both doors
*1
confirmation beep sound
or the trunk lid have been locked/unlocked.
When both doors are closed and the advanced key
is being carried and out of operational range, both
doors automatically lock after 3 seconds.
Autolock function
(Even if the driver is in the operational range,
both doors are locked automatically after about 30
seconds.)
*1 : When the autolock function is operating, the warning sound will be heard regardless of the setting.
