MarkNet external print
servers are sometimes called
external network adapters or
ENAs.
Connect only one network
cable even if the MarkNet has
more than one network port.
If you are attaching a serial
printer, the baud rate and
other settings should match
between the MarkNet and the
printer. Detailed instructions
for attaching serial printers
are on the Drivers,
MarkVisoin and Utilities CD.
Click View Documentation
and look for the MarkNet link.
Also on the CD is information
about attaching a Class 1 fax
modem to the serial port and
printing incoming faxes at
parallel port 1 or parallel
port 2.
If you need to position a
printer further from the
MarkNet than the power
supply allows, unplug the
printer from the MarkNet
power supply and use a
separate power cord for that
printer. Leave the unused
pigtail on the power supply
dangling as is, or cap it with
the plastic cap that shipped
with the MarkNet.
