Set the switch to off in airplanes and hospitals. Check the wireless
communication indicator. It will stop glowing when the wireless
communication function is off.

The figure below shows the computer's left side.
COOLING VENTS
Cooling vents
Be careful not to block the cooling vents. Also be careful to keep foreign objects
out of them. A pin or similar object can damage the computer's circuitry.

Satellite Pro A10 Series
This indicator glows orange when Wireless LAN
function is on (Wireless LAN model or Wireless
LAN ready model only).
PC CARD SLOT
The left side of the computer
These vents provide an outlet for air pulled
through the computer by the fan.
A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables
connection of a three-conductor mini jack for
monaural microphone input.
This jack lets you connect speakers or a stereo
headphone (16 ohm minimum). When you
connect a speaker or headphones, the internal
speakers are automatically disabled.
A PC card slot can accommodate one 5 mm
Type II card. You can install any industry
standard PC card such as a SCSI adaptor,
Ethernet adaptor or flash memory card.
