cfg cfg -L <LUN ID> -a <capacity> [{G|g}|{K|k}] –g <RG Id>
cfg -L <LUN ID> -d
To Create a LUN requires three
parameters, LUN ID, capacity and RD
Id.
-L <LUN ID>: specify LUN ID to be
created.
-a <capacity>: specify LUN capacity.
Capacity is default to MB.
If followed by 'K' or 'k', the capacity is in
kilobytes and must be a multiple of
512.
If followed by 'G' or 'g', the capacity is in
gigabytes.
-g <RG ID>: redundancy group id. For
VA 7100 set to 1, for VA 7400 set to 1
or 2.
For valid number of LUNs to create,
check dsp –s for CREATE LUN LIMIT.
-L followed by –d: deletes LUN, no
need to specify capacity, just LUN ID.
