3. Unpack the deskside assembly and remove the
packing material.
NOTE: The inside of the cover comes with a
structural foam lining. It is part of the cover and
is not to be removed.
4. Remove the base and end cap from the deskside
assembly.
a. Turn the deskside assembly upside down.
b. Using a Torx T25 driver, remove the 4-screws from
the base and set the screws and the base aside.
c. Using the Torx T25 driver, remove the 2-screws
from the end cap and set the screws and the end cap
aside.
5. Set the deskside cover on the floor with the long
opening facing up (see cover position in Figure 2).
An empty array with controllers may weigh in excess of 60 pounds. To avoid serious injury,

it is recommended that at least two people lift the array chassis into the deskside cover.
6. Turn the empty array chassis on its side (Figure 3) in
preparation for inserting into the deskside cover.
