the Support Disk is in drive A, execute the following commands at the DOS
prompt: (You can create the HP LAN Adapter Support Disk from the Diskette
Library)
A:
HPVGSET
If you wish to use the adapter in full duplex mode, use HPVGSET to enable
that option now.
Select "Card Test" to verify the adapter. After it passes, select "Exit program."
Connect the LAN cable to the HP DeskDirect Adapter.
4. If Windows NT asks for more Installation Diskettes than you have, e.g. asking
for Diskette #4 when you only have up to Diskette #3, make sure that the IDE
driver is installed properly. See step #7 for instructions.
5. If your system does not boot, and the screen displays an error message
"BOOT: Couldn' t find NTLDR," remove the Windows NT CD-ROM from the
drive and reboot the system again.

Section 5. HP NetServer CD Status Report

FAX
HP has a new FAX service to ensure that you have access to the newest versions of
HP NetServer system software.
To obtain an HP NetServer CD Status Report via FAX, perform the following:
1. Call the HP FIRST FAX system at 1-800-333-1917, or if you are using a
FAX machine, call 1-208-344-4809.
2. Enter the four-digit Document ID Number (printed on the NetServer
Manager CD) when prompted. The HP NetServer CD Status Report will be
faxed to you.
Internet (World-Wide)
To obtain an HP NetServer CD Status Report via Internet, locate the four-digit
Document ID Number printed on the NetServer Manager CD and do the following:
