4.5.1 Exposure Setting
The Exposure Setting can be found under this path: Camera> Exposure.
The exposure is the amount of light received by the image sensor and is determined by the
width of lens diaphragm opening, the amount of exposure by the sensor (shutter speed) and
other exposure parameters. With this item, users can define how the Auto Exposure function
works.
Each exposure mode is specified as follows:
Auto Mode
Auto Shutter Mode
This function is to control the shutter speed and adjust the iris automatically according
to the light intensity. It is also effective if a fixed iris lens is being used. The minimum
shutter speed range is configurable from 1 (1/1.5) to 1/500 (1/425) sec.
Manual Mode
Fixed Shutter Mode
In this mode, fixed shutter speed could be selected from the dropdown menu. The
shutter speed range is from 1/10000 to 1 (1/1.5) sec. with 19 (18) options. Users could
select suitable shutter speed according to the environmental illumination.
