Search
Search lets you reclaim device memory by clearing previous
searches, center future searches on your location, and
review Google Search Terms of Service and included Open
Source software licenses.
From the Settings menu, touch Search. The Google
Search settings screen appears with the following
available options:
• Clear history: Erases previous searches.
• Use My Location: Uses your GPS location for Google search
results and other Google services
• Terms of Service: Launches metroWEB to show Google
Search Terms of Service information.
• Open Source Licenses: Review licenses for Open Source
software used in and/or with Google Search.

Language & keyboard
Select locale
Set the language used by your phone's screens.
1. From the Settings menu, touch Language & keyboard.
2. Touch Select locale: Select a language/locale from the
list.
Text settings
Configure text entry options to your preferences.
Select input method
Select the default on-screen keypad that appears when you
touch a text entry field.
1. From the Settings menu, touch Language & keyboard
Select input method.
2. Select Samsung keypad (Samsung keypad is the
default) or Swype.
