Making Calls using Speed Dials

Speed Dials are 1-, 2-, or 3-digit shortcuts (1 to 100) you
assign to contacts, to allow you to quickly call the contact.
(For more information, refer to "Speed Dials" on page 64.)
1. Navigate to a Home screen panel, then touch
Phone.
2. Touch the digits of the speed dial number on the Dialer
keypad, holding the last digit until the number dials.

Making Calls from Contacts

A contact is an entry that you have created to store the
name, numbers, and other information for people or groups
of interest. (For more information, refer to "Contacts" on
page 55.)
1. Navigate to a Home screen panel, then touch
Contacts.
2. Find the contact and touch it to open the Contact entry.
3. Touch
to dial the default number for the
Call
Contact.
Making Calls using Voice Control
Place a call by speaking the name or number. (For more
information, refer to "Voice Dialer" on page 120.)
1. Navigate to a Home screen panel, then touch
Applications
prompted to speak a command.
2. Say "Call" followed by a Contact name or "Dial"
followed by a phone number.
Making Calls using Favorites
Favorites are Contacts you designate as favorites by starring
them, or Contacts you call frequently. (For more information
about designating favorites, see "Favorites" on page 60.)
1. Navigate to a Home screen panel, then touch
Phone.
2. Touch
Favorites to display the list of your
favorites.
3. Find the Contact and touch it to open the Contact entry.
4. Touch
to dial the default number for the
Call
Contact.
