Creative aspects

The underwater world provides a great opportu -
nity to give your creative impulses free reign.
Due to the different possible light sources
(natural, flash, artificial) the ideal framework is
available for experimentation. When working
with ambient light, for example, fascinating
results can be obtained by photographing from
the bottom up with a long exposure time – that
way you can see the path of the light beams in
the water. Shooting places with artificial light
sources, such as ports or landing stages, can also
produce very creative results. Don't be afraid to
break some photographic rules – this is the time
to do it! And don't forget you are not limited to
just 36 pictures – using a high-capacity memory
card will give you the chance to take literally
hundreds of shots before needing to surface.
