Theamountof detergentto usedependsonwhetheryour
water ishardor soft.With hardwater,you needextra
detergent.With softwater,you needlessdetergent.
Protectyourdishesand dishwasher b y contactingyour
water departmentand askinghow hardyour water is.
Twelveor moregrainsis extremelyhardwater.A water
softenerisrecommended. Withoutit, limecan buildup in
the water valve,whichcouldstickwhileopen and cause
flooding.Toomuch detergentwith soft water cancausea
permanentcloudiness of glassware, c alledetching.
Usethe informationin the tablebelowas a guideto
determine the amount of automaticdishwasher d etergent
to placein the dispenser. Voumay usepowder, l iquid,gel
or tabletsin this dispenser.
Whenusingautomaticdishwashingdetergent t ablets,
simplyplaceonetablet in the mainwash sectionand close
the cover.
NOTE: Usingo detergent t hat isnot specificoll_t designed
for dishwashers w ill causethedishwasher t o fillwith suds.

vents,covering thekitchenfloorand makingthefloorwet.
Because somany detergentcontainerslookalike,storethe
dishwasher d etergentin a separatespacefrom all other
