MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus)

The MF/AF function works in the CAMERA mode only.
In most situations, it is better to use the Automatic Focus
feature, as it enables you to concentrate on the creative
side of your recording.
Manual focusing may be necessary under certain
conditions that make automatic focusing inadequate.
Auto Focusing
The AF (Auto Focus) mode is set automatically when
you switch on the Power switch.
If you are inexperienced with camcorders,
we recommend that you use the Auto Focus mode.
Manual Focusing
In the following situations, you should obtain better
results by adjusting the focus manually.
a. A picture containing several objects,
some close to the camcorder,
others further away.
b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded
by snow.
c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car.
d. People or objects moving constantly or
quickly like an athlete or crowd.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
(see page 18)
2. Press the MF button.
3. Zoom in the subject to be recorded by
pushing the ZOOM tab to the "T" side.

Enfoque Manual/Automático
La función Enfoque manual/automático funciona sólo en el
modo CAMERA.
En la mayoría de situaciones, es mejor utilizar el Enfoque
automático, pues permite concentrarse en la parte creativa
de la filmación.
El enfoque manual es necesario en aquellas condiciones en
las que el enfoque automático no es adecuado.
Enfoque Automático
El modo AF (de Enfoque automático) se activa
automáticamente al encender la videocámara.
Si no tiene experiencia con videocámaras, es recomend-
able el uso del modo de Enfoque automático.
Enfoque Manual
En los siguientes casos debería
obtener mejores resultados
utilizando el enfoque manual.
a. Una imagen con varios objetos, unos
cercanos a la videocámara y otros
lejanos.
b. Una persona rodeada de niebla o de
nieve.
c. Superficies muy brillantes o esmaltadas,
como un coche.
d. Personas u objetos que se mueven
constantemente o con rapidez, como un
deportista o una multitud.
1. Ponga el interruptor de encendido en
modo CAMERA. (Consulte la página 18)
2. Pulse el botón MF.
3. Acerque la imagen con el zoom,
empujando la pestaña ZOOM hacia la
"T".
