Connecting the R-K1000 (sold separately)
DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL)

To connect an R-K1000 (sold separately) to the DP-K1000, use the coaxial cable supplied with the
DP-K1000 to connect the [CD IN (COAX)] terminal on the R-K1000 to the [DIGITAL OUT (COAXIAL)]
terminal on the rear panel of the DP-K1000.
SYSTEM CONTROL

To connect an R-K1000 (sold separately) to the DP-K1000, use the system control cable supplied with
the DP-K1000 to connect the [SYSTEM CONTROL] terminal on the R-K1000 to the [SYSTEM CONTROL]
terminal on the rear panel of the DP-K1000.
Connecting Other Components
DIGITAL OUT (OPTICAL)

Connect the optical digital input terminals on components such as MD recorders to the [DIGITAL OUT
(OPTICAL)] terminal on the rear panel of the DP-K1000.
ANALOG OUT

To connect an amplifi er other than R-K1000 (sold separately) or an amplifi er that does not have a digital
input terminal to the DP-K1000, use the audio cable supplied with the DP-K1000 to connect the audio
input terminal on the amplifi er to the [ANALOG OUT] terminal on the rear panel of the DP-K1000.
Microcomputer malfunctions
When a related system component is connected, read the instruction manual for that component
also.
If the system is connected correctly and still does not operate
normally or shows display errors, reset the microcomputer. (P.32)
