Live Dialing

Live dialing refers to making a call when the phone is off hook.
To make a call off hook:
1. Press PHONE or SPEAKER to initiate a call as shown
in Figure 17.
2. Enter telephone number using dial pad keys. Dial
for an outside call. Hyphens are automatically inserted
for all 7, 8, 10, and 11 digit dialing, except when 9 is
followed by a zero for an international call.
NOTE: If you enter 9 followed by another digit other than 1,
replaces
XFER EXT_#s
as shown in Figure 18.
