7. Tap Camera to activate a voice control that allows you
to verbally take a new picture.
• Take a new photo by clearly saying either "Capture", "Shoot",
"Smile", or "Cheese".
8. Tap Music to activate a voice control that allows you to
verbally control music playback within the Music Player
app (page 218). Commands include: Next, Previous,
Play, Pause, Volume up, and Volume down.
Note: Voice control for music is only available when using the
Music player application. THis control is not available on
Play Music.

Speech Settings

This menu allows you to set the speech settings for Voice
input.
1. Press
Language and input.
2. Tap Voice recognizer and select either Google or
Samsung powered by Vlingo as your Voice recognition
engine.
3. Tap Voice search to configure:

Configuring Voice Input Recognition
This feature allows the device to correctly recognize verbal
input.
1. Press
Language and input
2. Configure the available options to alter the settings
associated with this feature:
• Language: selects an input language and associated dialect
recognition (if available).
• SafeSearch: sets the explicit image filter settings. These
settings apply to only Google voice search results. Choose
from: Off, Moderate, or Strict.
• Block offensive words: allows you to block recognition of
known offensive words or language. (A green check mark
indicates the feature is active).
3. Press
to return to the previous screen.
