Port mapping

Brocade Access Gateway uses mapping—that is, pre-provisioned routes—to direct traffic from the
hosts to the fabric. When you first enable Access Gateway mode, the F_Ports are mapped to a set
of predefined N_Ports, see
manually change the mapping, if required.

Figure 2 on page 3 are the same. One switch is in default standard mode and the
compares port configuration with Access Gateway to a typical fabric switch.
