Alert Sounds

Choose sounds for new message alerts, emergency tones,
missed calls, and device connection and battery charge
alerts.
1. From the Home screen, press the
Key to select MENU
Settings Alert Sounds.
2. Use the Left Soft Key,
Center Select Key to make selections for these
settings:
• TXT Message:

Alert Tone: Select a tone to play when you receive a new text
message.

Alert Vibrate: Select On to have your phone will vibrate when
you receive a new text message, or Off for no vibration. Vibrate
is independent of the Alert Tone.

Reminder: Select Once, Every 2 Minutes, or Every 15
Minutes to have your phone remind you of new text messages,
or select Off for no reminders.

multimedia message.
