Remove gate operator from brackets by removing the hair clips. Mark holes to be drilled. For the post bracket, mark and drill holes in the middle of the slots to allow for minor adjustments if required.

Once you have verifi ed that the operator is level and the 1/4" gap between the operator and the extension bracket has been maintained, tighten all of the post and gate bracket supporting hardware.
