Set Stations
You can set the desired station name.
Perform steps A and B of "Manual Channel Set" on page 93
to access the Confirmation screen before continuing.
A
Select the channel to set the station name.
Press rt w e to select the channel you want to set the
station name, then press ENTER twice.
B
Select the character for station name.
Press rt to select "ID", then press ENTER twice. ID
setting screen appears.
C
Enter the character.
A Press w e to locate the character insertion point.
B Press rt to cycle through the characters (A–Z, 0–9,
–,
, +,
(space)) and stop when the desired

character is indicated, then press e to enter.
C Enter the remaining characters the same way
(maximum of 4).
D After entering all characters, press w e to select "OK",
then press ENTER.

Close the Confirmation screen.
Press SET UP three times.
NOTE:
The characters available for the station name (ID) are A–Z, 0–9,
–,
, +,
(space) (maximum of 4).

Fine-Tuning Channels Already Stored
Perform steps A and B of "Manual Channel Set" on page 93
to access the Confirmation screen before continuing.
A
Select the channel to fine-tune.
Press rt w e to select the channel you want to fine-
tune, then press ENTER twice.
B
Perform fine-tuning.
A Press rt to select "FINE".
B Press w e until the picture appears in its best quality.
Repeat steps A – B as necessary.
C
Close the Confirmation screen.
Press SET UP three times.
TV System Selection — When you see
the picture but the audio can't be
heard or sounds unnatural
Perform steps A and B of "Manual Channel Set" on page 93
to access the Confirmation screen before continuing.
A
Select the channel.
Press rt w e to select the channel you want to change
its TV system, then press ENTER twice.
B
Select the TV system.
A Press rt to select "TV SYSTEM", then press ENTER.
B Press rt until the appropriate TV system appears,
then press ENTER.
