Connect the camcorder to the master DR-HD,
using the supplied FireWire cable.
Step 2:

Power on unit.

Step 4:
Slave
Power on the unit
Go to the

Master
Begin recording or playback using the master DR-HD100.

Use DD Drive Mode when Connecting to a PC
It is important to take the master DR-HD100 out of USE EXT
DR-HD mode before attempting to connect to a computer.
To do this, select DD DRIVE from the HDD Mode screen.
This returns use of the unit to hard disk mode.
