The items in this menu allow you to set or change the configurations for
the IDE devices installed in the system. Select an item then press <Enter>
if you want to configure the item.

Hard Disk Write Protect
IDE Detect Time Out (Sec)
ATA(PI) 80Pin Cable Detection [Host]
Parallel ATA IDE Controller [Both]
Allows you to select the Parallel ATA IDE controller.
Configuration options: [Disabled] [Primary] [Secondary] [Both]
Hard Disk Write Protect [Disabled]
Allows you to enable to disable the hard disk write protection. This will be effective
only if device is accessed through BIOS. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
IDE Detect Time Out (Sec) [35]
Allows you to select the time out value for detecting ATA or ATAPI device(s).
Configuration options: [0] [5] [10] [15] [20] [25] [30] [35]
ATA(PI) 80Pin Cable Detection [Host]
Allows you to select the mechanism for detecting 80Pin ATA(PI) cable.
Configuration options: [Host & Device] [Host] [Device]
