A Video Capsule is stored on the hard disk drive for a
preset period of time. When this time has expired, the
Video Capsule is automatically deleted.
During Video Capsule playback, a snapshot view of
the scenes are captured on a film roll. You can scroll
freely through the film roll to view different scenes.
Group of Pictures (GOP) are the smallest unit of
measure for the images captured on a Video Capsule.
A single GOP is approximately 0.5 to 1 second in
length.
Contains the creation date of Video Capsules and their
thumbnails - information that is required for preview.
MiniDisc Long Play (MDLP) is an industry standard
for compression levels of audio files.
A compact, portable, and versatile data storage device
designed for exchanging and sharing digital data with
compatible products.
A drive which enables you to play, record, and erase
data to and from MiniDisc media. The drive also
supports secure music transfers.
MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3 (MP3) is an audio file
compression format which condenses audio files
approximately 1/10th the size of an audio CD.
A file that contains compressed moving pictures using
the MPEG standard, with .mpg as the file name
extension.
An application interface which enables you to transfer
music data at high speeds from your computer to a
MiniDisc device while protecting copyrighted
material.
