    System-locator LED: Use this blue LED to visually locate the server if it is in a location with numerous other servers. If your server supports IBM Director, you can use IBM Director to light this LED remotely. Hard disk drive activity LED: When this LED is flashing, it indicates that a hard disk drive is in use.

    Server power features When the server is connected to an ac power source but is not turned on, the operating system does not run, and all core logic except for the service processor is shut down; however, the server can respond to requests from the service processor, such as a remote request to turn on the server.

Use this CD during the initial installation of the server to configure basic hardware features and to simplify your operating-system installation.
