Figure 7. Onboard Administrator access to iLO
Users login to Onboard Administrator using one of the following methods:
• Local User (i.e. Onboard Administrator's local user list)
• Authentication against the network Directory using the Default Schema method
• Access through Insight Manager single sign-on.
Onboard Administrator uses roles-based administration, assigning one of the following roles to each
user that logs in - Administrator, Operator, User.
When accessing an iLO through the Onboard Administrator's interface, users are given a pre-
determined set of iLO privileges (Table 7) based on the user Onboard Administrator role. Unlike SIM
single sign-on, this mapping of Onboard Administrator roles to iLO privileges is fixed and not
configurable.
