• When fueling a 2-cycle trimmer you must mix 2-cycle oil with gas. Don't Panic, we have included
some 2-cycle oil in the plastic bag packed with your trimmer. Pour the contents of this bottle into
one gallon of gas, mix well and then fill your trimmer's gas tank.
• Complete starting instructions are located on the trimmer shaft, and in your Operator's Manual.
• Confused about Warm vs. Cold Starting? Starting a Cold engine is different than starting a warm
engine. If you are re-starting your trimmer and are not sure if the engine is still warm, leave the red
lever in position #3 and pull rope. If the engine does not start within 5 pulls, see "COLD START"
instructions located on the shaft of the trimmer and in the Operator's Manual.
• Did your engine start? If it did not, RELAX. It may be flooded. Not a problem. This is easy to
fix. Simply put the red choke lever on position #3. Squeeze the trigger and pull the starter cord
quickly for 10 - 12 pulls. If the engine does not start consult the instructions located on the trimmer
shaft, in your Operator's Manual or call 1-800-242-4672.
• This trimmer is not blade capable.
