Connecting the Antenna Terminals

The following explains how to connect the included antenna only.
When supplying multiple input from a single outdoor antenna, be sure to use a splitter that is compatible
with the specifications of the tuner and its installation environment.
Refer to the owner's manual for each item of equipment regarding connection of an outdoor antenna and
splitter.

NOTE
• Do not connect two FM antennas simultaneously.
• Even if an external AM antenna is used, do not
disconnect the AM loop antenna.
• Make sure the AM loop antenna lead terminals do
not touch metal parts of the panel.
• Locate each AM loop antenna at a distance that does
not cause interference (1.7 ft / 50 cm or more). (FM/
AM, HD Radio)

Note to CATV system installer:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system
installer's attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC
which provides guidelines for proper grounding
and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground
shall be connected to the grounding system of
the building, as close to the point of cable entry
as practical.
